Michael Townley was known to be a mastermind thief in his city. He, with his team robbed multiple banks, jewellery stores and even attempted big heists with the help of professional hackers in his contacts. The cops were always unable to catch and arrest him.
Everything was going well, where suddenly, one of his teammate snitched Michael Townley and leaked all the information; upcoming plans, his location, his secret base, etc. to the cops, just for some extra money in his cut, which Michael Townley refused to give him.
Michael Townley was completely distressed and confused, had no idea about the next step to save himself. So, he packed all his stuff and flew away to Los Santos. Also, he decided to stop doing all the criminal activities and start a new life.
